In the Beginning

I've got to say, this next piece is intimidating. 26 different canvases to be painted, each representing a different truth lived by a unique Muslim woman. I knew it would be a challenge, but as I read the stories that they have shared....as I feel their pride, their joy, their pain, and also their anger, I am overwhelmed by the responsibility!

To those who have entrusted me with parts of your life and experiences: I will do my best to honor them. Thank you!
