World Hijab Day

In 2015 I began a journey of self reflection, vulnerability, learning, and sharing through art. My goal in creating the "Just a Peek, Please?" series was simple: to help people look past the "veils" that divide us, whether actual or conjectural, and see themselves in strangers. My journey is not complete, and as I prepare to lay brush to canvas for the next work in the series I send thanks to all of the women who have allowed me to share their stories.
